Synopsis
College freshman Kanji Sasahara joins Genshiken, a student club devoted to modern visual culture, hoping to deepen his understanding of otaku life and become more committed to the hobby. Saki Kasukabe, whose boyfriend Makoto Kohsaka is also a member, is pulled into the group despite her dislike of otaku culture, forcing her to confront attitudes that gradually begin to shift.
