Synopsis

During the middle Edo period, Unabara's ruler summons his 31 sons to compete for succession. Each must recruit a martial artist, and their champions will battle until one remains. At a secluded mountain dojo, Washitzu Naoshi encounters Kurogane Gama, heir to a famed but absent swordsman. Seeking greater strength, Gama joins him, entering a brutal contest to prove who stands above the nation's fighters.
