Synopsis
After generations of Shang rule, its emperor refuses to accept divine authority over his kingdom and seeks to restore humanity's freedom. His defiance draws the gods into conflict with the earthly realm, while the young ruler of Zhou advances a competing vision shaped by his allegiance to them. Their confrontation places the dynasty—and mankind's future—at stake.
