Synopsis

After a witch's influence turns the wider world into a lightless wasteland, people survive in crowded cities built around the last remaining color. Kay dreams of joining the Pioneer Corps, an expeditionary group working to restore the abandoned lands, but his lack of color bars him from service. Then an unexplained event gives Kay a color of his own: black.
