Synopsis

In a medieval land terrorized by flesh-eating shapeshifters, ordinary people have few ways to protect themselves. Clare, a reserved warrior belonging to a secretive order of half-human fighters, travels from one threatened settlement to another while battling the monstrous instincts within her. Driven by a personal grudge, she gradually begins to question the organization's purpose and the hidden history behind its warriors.
