Synopsis
After intervening in an attack, high school student Kazuki Muto learns that the apparent victim, Tokiko, has saved him instead. She replaces his destroyed heart with a kakugane, an alchemical core that grants him a weapon. Kazuki is drawn into a hidden battle against homunculi—human-looking predators that feed on people and can only be defeated by Buso Renkin.
