Synopsis

In ancient India, rigid caste divisions shape the lives surrounding Siddhartha's birth. Chapra, a slave who earns the favor of a Kosala general through an act of courage, is adopted into a higher social position. Concealing his origins, he pursues influence while confronting the limits imposed by the status system, alongside Siddhartha's emerging journey.
