Synopsis
On the hidden side of the moon, Princess Kaguya is expected to inherit leadership of a technologically advanced society divided between rival clans. Rebellious and frustrated by royal expectations, she clashes with her ailing mother, Queen Fumiya. When the opposing clan launches a coup, Kaguya is sent to Earth carrying the sword that legitimizes her family's rule, beginning her struggle to reclaim the lunar throne.
