A Battle of Wits

Synopsis

In ancient China, Kakuri belongs to a disciplined order whose members devote themselves to defending cities under threat. When he is called to protect the modest city of Ryo, local residents regard him with suspicion rather than gratitude. Their unease becomes urgent as the powerful Tcho empire gathers its forces across the river, turning Ryo into the next target of a looming siege.
