Synopsis
Condemned to die, former ninja Gabimaru has lost his will to live—until an executioner offers him a chance to reunite with his wife. To gain a pardon, he must join other death-row criminals on an expedition ordered by the shogunate. Their destination is a remote island rumored to contain a substance that grants immortality, where survival and discovery are equally uncertain.
